Thanks for the feedback - glad to hear that the PUG is still a useful
project for the List - sometimes it's hard to tell :-)
Thanks, Stan, for the offer to take over. I'm happy to keep going with
it until you're ready to step in. I'll also put up a couple of themes
for 2026.
The PUG is hosted on the Komkon server and Igor Roshchin is the
contact. I'll get in touch with Igor to let him know about the
change. He will probably need to set up a user name & password to allow
you to upload the gallery each month.
I'm on Windows but I don't think using a Mac will be an issue. I use
JAlbum to create the galleries but any convenient gallery creation
software can be used. Uploading to the server is done via an FTP client,
which is not operating system dependent. I'm sure Igor can advise on a
suitable program.
Setting up the gallery each month doesn't take a lot of time - maybe an
hour or so each month. I do it while watching TV in the evenings.

I have been giving serious thought to stepping into the PUG meister role.
Caveats:
a. If anyone else wants to take it on, go for it! Otherwise I’ll give it a try.
b. I leave in a few weeks on a long trip, much preparation still to be done
before our trip. So I can’t realistically try to start into the role in the
short period before we leave home early November.
c. We will not be back at home until 10-11 December. Too late to do advance
work on themes for 2026.
So, if nobody else wants it, and if Brian and/or others will fill the gap in
the interim, I’ll give it a go, starting late this year. I obviously will need
training/orientation on file processing, etc. And oh by the way, I use only Mac
computers; are the file and processing and archiving software compatible?
